Associate Scientist/Scientist -Bioanalysis and Antibody Characterization

We seek a highly motivated and energetic Associate Scientist/Scientist with strong scientific background and extensive hand-on experience in bioanalysis, antibody purification and characterization to join our antibody discovery and development team at the central New Jersey site.



  • Designs, develops and conducts analytical methods and assays for bioanalytical samples, including but not limited to antibody, bispecific and multifunctional molecules
  • Supports company’s bioanalytical platforms for antibody and multifunctional molecule analysis and characterization and lead selection
  • Conducts HPLC, SE-HPLC, SEC, CE-SDS and SDS-PAGE assays
  • Performs small to medium scale antibody purification (affinity, ion exchange and SEC)
  • Conducts antibody characterization (SDS PAGE, ELISA and endotoxin measurement)
  • Data analysis, report writing, presentation at project meetings



  • BS, MS or PhD in biochemistry, protein chemistry, bioengineering, biology or related fields with strong expertise in bioanalysis
  • Hand on experience in HPLC, SE-HPLC, CE-SDS, CIEG, SDS-PAGE
  • Solid training and extensive experience in antibody purification
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on projects as well as collaborate effectively in a team setting
  • Experience with BIAcore, Octet or related technology and platforms is desirable
  • Knowledge in molecular biology and antibody discovery and characterization is a plus
